Urbanrum Hand-Made Font
Immersing myself in the dynamic visuals of graffiti and the bustling rhythm of urban environments, I was inspired to craft a font that echoed these influences. Starting with the bold, expressive lines reminiscent of street art, I hand-sketched each letter using Procreate. Moving to Photoshop, I digitized and refined the letters while retaining their urban essence. Carefully adjusting spacing and kerning, I aimed to capture the fluidity of city life within the font. The result was a typeface that not only drew from graffiti's raw energy but also encapsulated the pulse of modern urban culture.
Creating a handwritten font using Procreate and Photoshop was an exciting journey of merging my personal style with digital design. I began by sketching each letter on Procreate, relishing the freedom of imperfections. The transition from paper to digital was seamless, and refining the letters for consistency was surprisingly satisfying. Importing them into Photoshop, I meticulously fine-tuned the spacing and kerning to ensure fluidity and legibility. Finally, saving and installing the font allowed me to use my unique handwriting in various projects, adding an authentic and personal touch to my designs.
